Which vehicles are compatible with your products?
All electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles fitted with a Type 2 socket or a standard Mode 2 cable are compatible. This covers Tesla, Nissan, Volkswagen, BMW, Renault, Hyundai, Kia and every other manufacturer sold on the UK market.
What's the difference between a reinforced socket and a wall charger?
A reinforced socket delivers 3.7 kW (around 10 hours for 100 miles) and is the most affordable option, ideal for overnight charging on Economy 7 or off-peak tariffs. A wall charger (wallbox) delivers 7.4 to 22 kW (around 3 hours for 100 miles) with smartphone control, solar integration and smart scheduling. The right choice depends on how often you drive.
How much does it really cost to charge at home?
On an off-peak tariff such as Octopus Go (around 10p/kWh), charging for 100 miles costs roughly £3.50 — three to four times cheaper than a public rapid charger. Over a year, typical savings are £600 to £900 for 10,000 miles.
How does delivery work?
Free UK delivery, no minimum spend. Order processing takes 1 to 2 business days, then UPS delivery takes 3 to 5 business days — total 4 to 7 business days end-to-end. UPS tracking number sent by email when your parcel leaves our warehouse.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Every transaction is fully secured via Shopify Payments (PCI-DSS Level 1). All prices are charged in pounds sterling (GBP £).
What charging power should I pick for my car?
For most cars with a 50 to 80 kWh battery, a 3.7 kW reinforced socket is enough for standard overnight charging. For 80+ kWh batteries or daily heavy use, a 7.4 kW wall charger is more comfortable. 22 kW is only worthwhile if your car supports 3-phase charging, which is rare on UK domestic supplies.
Can I return a product?
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return any unused product in its original packaging. Returns are free across the UK with a prepaid label provided by our customer service team. No restocking fee. Once we receive your return, we process the refund within 14 days.
What does the warranty cover?
3-year manufacturer parts warranty on every product, covering manufacturing defects. Email support 6 days a week (Mon-Sat) at contact@zyleo.co.uk for diagnosis. Faulty units are replaced once the fault has been confirmed by our technical team.
